The Pushki Pickers, a string band hailing from the Southern Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, formed in 2022 on a shared desire to play a little bluegrass, has grown into a regional sensation, appearing randomly, unscheduled, and unannounced, at various events and venues on the peninsula. Musically, the Pushki Pickers are developing a catalog of originals, as well as exploring a variety of styles, from bluegrass and oldtime, to rock and country, with a healthy sprinkling of the Grateful Dead, from ballads and slowdancers to barnburners. All beer and wine sales from this concert will go directly towards KBBI, Homer’s local public radio station.
This is a 21+ event, those under 21 who wish to attend may do so if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
