A purifying & peaceful evening of deep restoration - with an introduction to Hapé (a medicinal snuff from the Amazon) & a sound bath
About this Event

Gather with us in a sacred spaced.

Hapé is a sacred medicinal snuff from the Amazon that we will be offering to help us clear our minds, deepen into the breath, come into our center, and heighten our vibrational awareness.

The ceremony begins with grounding exercises, intention setting, and creating a safe & supportive container. Hannah's Hapé is prepared by the Huni Kuin indigenous people who live in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil, in Pinuya Village. The Hapé will be administered using a tepí pipe from the same tribe. We will begin with an offering of prayers, invocations, and guided meditation. After the service of Hapé, the ceremony will shift into a sound bath, where you will be immersed in deep sounds created by various instruments like flutes, harps, gong, drums & chimes. The combination of Hapè and sound vibrations promotes deep relaxation, and can help release energetic blockages, and facilitate personal growth, inner exploration, and healing.

Join us for a sacred evening of relaxing rejuvenation, meditation and prayer, as we soak up these healing frequencies, and cultivate states of deeper peace within. No experience with Hapé is necessary. And if you decide you would like to abstain from the Hapé, you are more than welcome to just witness this portion of the ceremony.

More about Hape:

Hapé is a very sacred herbal snuff, made by the indigenous tribes of the Amazon. Hapé, or rapé, is pronounced ‘haa-pay’ in English and is applied using an applicator to blow the snuff up the nostrils in prayer and meditation. It is used to connect with Mother Nature. This healing snuff is used by traditional peoples to cleanse the mind, purify the thoughts, bring clarity, spiritual alignment, and clear negativity and heaviness from the body, mind, & soul.
The indigenous tribes have been working with this medicine for thousands of years to heal their communities and to connect with the Creator. This plant medicine takes days to make and is a very labor intensive process made in a ceremonial way, out of various Amazonian healing medicinal plants, leaves, trees and seeds from native lands.

Hape is one of the most revered, sacred and integral plant medicines in the Amazon Rainforest and has innumerable healing benefits. Hape can be purgative, which serves as an expression of it's healing benefit - clearing the body and spirit of pollutants, blockages and illness. The purgative effects can be influenced by dosage, however even in small dosages there is potential you may experience a deep clearing. This is celebrated, as a form of "getting well" and we will guide you through this, if it occurs. That being said, we will be serving small dosages to those who are new to this medicine, to support a more gentle introduction to this potent healing medicine.

Hape Benefits:
~ Connects you to the Earth, helping you to ground and center yourself for meditation and prayer
~ Offers energetic protection that comes from connecting with the plant, an ally for strength, clarity, and focus.
~ Clears negativity and stills the mind
~ Purifies and cleanses the sinuses and respiratory tract. Used by traditional peoples to treat sinus issues and reduce mucus.
~ Supports the digestive system, stimulates the bowels
