Join Wildflower Dog Training & Two Pals and a Pup for a puppy play class!
Appropriate puppy play is incredibly important for puppy development.
Did you know that a puppy's socialization period, where puppies form long-lasting opinions about the world, ends at around 3 months of age? During this critical period puppies should be safely exposed to people, animals, and new experiences without causing fear. Proper socialization can decrease the risk of fear & aggression from developing in the future.
Join us for a play-focused class where we'll:
- Allow puppies to play & interact in a safe environment.
- Encourage puppies to engage with various enrichment stations.
- Learn how to use treats to reinforce behavior.
What puppy will learn:
- How to navigate social situations.
- How to communicate with others (dog & human) that they want to play or want space.
- How to decrease biting pressure so it doesn't hurt other dogs or people.
What you'll learn in class:
- What proper puppy play looks like.
- How to read doggie body language.
- What enrichment means, and what activities your puppy might like.
- Basic training pointers.
Requirements for class:
Puppy age at time of class: 6 months or younger
Vaccinations: Be up to date with vaccine schedule with at least one DHPP + 7 days, and first deworming completed.
