About this Event
I’m preparing a large batch of puppet kits for an upcoming MakerFaire and could use a few extra hands cutting and assembling materials.
So instead of doing it alone, I thought it would be much more fun to turn it into a relaxed puppet crafting night.
Come for just a few hours or spend an evening hanging out with other puppet enthusiasts while helping prep some puppet materials. In return, everyone who comes to help will get to build and keep a puppet of their own from the supplies I bring.
I’ll bring all the materials and tools, so you can simply show up and start crafting.
There will also be food, drinks, and plenty of puppet talk.
What to Expect
• Casual crafting and conversation
• Cutting and assembling puppet materials for MakerFaire kits
• The chance to make and keep your own puppet from the supplies I bring
• Food and drinks while we work
• A relaxed evening with other creative people
This is a very informal night, not a structured class.
Bring Your Own Puppet Projects (Optional)
If you have a puppet project you are working on, feel free to bring it along.
I’m always happy to trade puppet-making techniques and advice in exchange for a little help with the prep work.
Questions about materials, design, or fabrication are welcome.
Who This Is For
