Andre Bradford, a.k.a. S.C. Says, is a two time Austin Poetry Slam Champion, a three time Texas Grand Slam Finalist and has toured at venues and universities across the country. His work has been featured in the Huffington Post, Write About Now, The Edge radio, The Culture Trip, and Blavity. He is the author of the upcoming book, Golden Brown Skin and once popped a bag of popcorn without burning a single kernel. Mad skills.

Tova Charles is an educator and co-producer of the Austin Poetry Slam for over a decade. She has also worked as the Creative director for They Speak, Austin’s premier youth poetry slam. She has performed slam poetry nationwide and is the author of two books, Handled with Care and Quiet, the voices in my head have something to say.

[Musical Guests] Fragile Rock is an 8-piece emo-and-rock-and-roll puppet band led by comedian and musician, Brently Heilbron.
Since launching in 2014, Fragile Rock earned festival buzz at SXSW and their NPR Tiny Desk Concert was voted 1 of the 'Top 10 Funniest.' They have been called “the perfect festival act” by Variety.
