About this Event
Welcome to the Punk Rock Recovery Summit!
This event is for artists, musicians, performers, facilitators, and organisers in recovery who want to create bold, grassroots creative work and build stronger recovery communities through the arts.
Across the day you’ll hear from leading practitioners in the recovery arts movement, sharing practical guidance on how to start, grow and sustain creative projects for people in recovery — even in a tough funding landscape.
Together we’ll explore how the punk DIY ethic can reshape the sector:
how to be self-sufficient, how to mobilise community support, and how to build creative spaces that are raw, honest, and radically inclusive.
The summit will take place at the University of Brighton.
