Punk Nights is a new series of recurring events, featuring small rock bands around Canberra in the wake of many venues closing this year.
Smith’s Alternative brings punk fans and musicians alike to gather in a safe space, expressing themselves in the most creative of ways. Irror and Frogurt headline this event: two bands from Wollongong and Canberra came together to release ‘twenty fifth of august’ - a soulful ethereal rock EP. They’ll be joined by CBR emo revivalists Nora and local shoegazers Grunmartle.
Smith’s is joined by Charter Flights - an up-and-coming local booking agency with a goal to grow the CBR music scene as much as possible, with many events planned for the rest of the year.
This event is strictly 18+ unless a minor is accompanied by their own parent or legal guardian.
