Bring your leftover pumpkins to our first annual Pumpkin Smash in Milford! 🎃 Let’s keep pumpkins out of the trash and turn them into soil! Free, family-friendly, eco-smart. Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Eisenhower Park – Lower Parking Lot (780 North St, Milford, CT 06461)
We’ll provide:
🦺 Bats, gloves, safety glasses, and a designated smash zone.
Please bring:
✅ Clean pumpkins (Carved pumpkins are good as long as there are no paint, candles, glitter, or non-compostable decorations)
✅ Big smiles and your post-Halloween energy!
All smashed pumpkins will be collected by Milford Public Works and turned into compost – giving your pumpkins new life as healthy soil.
-If you’d rather skip the smashing, bring your pumpkins anyway and add them to our compost pile. Every pumpkin helps!
-Can’t make it to the Pumpkin Smash? You can still compost your pumpkins! Drop off at the Milford Transfer Station (1007 Oronoque Rd, Milford, CT 06461)
