Don't let your pumpkin haunt a landfill! Join LES Ecology Center at La Plaza Cultural for Pumpkin Smash 2025 on Sunday, November 9th. Bring your pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, and gourds for a smashing good time!
In addition, enjoy the following fun, family-friendly activities:
- Earth Loom Weaving
- Painting with Food Scraps
- Light Refreshments
- Live Music by Kicki & The Fellas
- ...and more!
Smashed pumpkins will be turned into compost to help rejuvenate soils in parks and green spaces.
If your pumpkin is still edible, we encourage you to find a tasty recipe that utilizes the entire pumpkin!
Can’t make it? Bring your jack-o-lanterns to one of LES Ecology Center's food scrap drop-off sites.
FREE. Registration recommended; drop-ins welcome! This event is rain or shine and will proceed in light rain. In the case that there is inclement weather, we notify via this Eventbrite page and on our social media.
