***CHARITY REQUEST***As most of you know, I run the pub quiz at the Royal Oak in Edwinstowe on a Sunday night. Following 4 years of help from Pumpkin and Friends, where Rambo has been supported with a wheelchair, I have decided to run my quiz to raise money for this amazing charity. Sarah also now volunteers with the charity and has her own "Wheelies" to look after
The quiz will take place on Sunday the 23rd November at The Royal Oak.
For ONE WEEK ONLY, it will cost £2 per player to enter the quiz.
There will be a normal raffle, but with extra prizes, lots of them and hopefully the chance to bid on something very special at the end of the night (watch this space!!!)
There will also be a couple of games of Sticky 13s, where an amount will be gifted to the charity
The quiz is always very popular and I'm expecting there to be no room at all, so it's best to call the Royal Oak and book a table, though please only book for the numbers you're sure about and only if you are definitely coming
We also have a magician in attendance who will be showing us some close-up magic
There will be some info on the tables as to who has supported the evening and also information to the charity page set up to receive donations. If you donate through here, please watch out for the bit where it asks you for a % to support Go Fund me. It's up to you if you do or not.
