This offering invites us to remember our sacred connection with animals and the natural world. It is not the role of animals to bring us back into pulse with Mother Earth. It is for us to remember our stewardship. When we walk beside animals we are reminded of our place within the greater web of life and the love and responsibility we share for all beings.
This 75 minute practice will be led by Sarah Huff, a devoted greyhound guardian who has welcomed beloved greyhounds Dusty and Daphne into her family through Greyhound Friends. Known for their incredible speed yet gentle and sensitive nature, greyhounds have been revered throughout history in art and culture as symbols of loyalty, grace, and companionship.
Greyhound Friends has been rescuing and rehoming greyhounds for more than 40 years, providing sanctuary and loving homes for retired racers and rescued sighthounds from around the world.
During this special practice offered in honor of Greyhound Adoption Month, we will gather in breath, movement, and stillness to reconnect with compassion, stewardship, and the deep bond we share with animals.
Suggested donation: $33+
All proceeds support the rescue, care, and adoption of these gentle dogs.
