Join your Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Mu Lambda Brothers for this Health and Wellness event designed to save lives and provide you with a 2-year CPR certification. Only 24 spots are available and open to ALL Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha.
CPR is 41% less likely to be performed on Black individuals , and Black communities often have lower access to CPR training . Join other brothers for this hands-on class that will teach you CPR and how to respond confidently in critical moments. Be part of the solution by gaining the skills to protect your family, friends, and community. Register today and help save lives.
You can expect:
• First Aid and CPR/AED trains you to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illness.
• CPR/AED trains you to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies.
• First Aid trains you to identify and respond to common sudden illnesses such as seizures, strokes, allergic reactions, poisoning and diabetic emergencies.
Your training class includes the following:
• 2-year certifications
• Free digital training material
• Free digital certificates for successful class participants
• Lunch will be provided
