Pull Up a Chair; Tell Me a Story

Pull Up a Chair, Tell Me a Story invites viewers into an intimate and reflective exhibition where chairs become vessels for memory, identity, and lived experience. Fifteen artists were invited to transform a chair into a seat of storytelling, drawing from family legacies, personal histories, favorite books, cultural traditions, historical reflection, and acts of activism. Familiar and functional, the chair becomes a powerful symbol—one that holds presence, invites pause and asks us to listen.
