I have financed 5 complete tufting set ups, so that's the max number of students per class. You can choose to work as a two person team on the same one. You get to pick the design and I can it drawn up for you when you arrive. OR if you’re running short on time, I can have it drawn up ahead of time for you.
The rugs end up around 17"x17". At the end of the class you can choose how you'd like to finish it. I have glue for the backing, but it needs to sit 24 hours to cure. I offer guests to come back during the next tufting class that works with their schedule, to shave the rug down after the glue dries. and I show everyone how to finish the edges with a blanket stitch. This makes it functional as a rug. If you'd rather use it as a wall decoration, we can use a hot press and some powder adhesive. Then, you're welcome to take it home with you the same day,
*If you have a group of 4 or 5 that would like to take the class, we can schedule it on a night other than a Monday.
