The Puerto Rico Interoperability & Digital Health Summit 2026 is a one-day executive-level gathering designed to bring together healthcare leaders, innovators, and strategic partners around the most important conversations shaping Puerto Rico’s digital health future.Taking place on June 18, 2026, at the Royal Sonesta San Juan in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico, this Summit will focus on the practical and strategic actions healthcare organizations need to take to advance interoperability, secure data sharing, digital health readiness, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, automation, and real-world implementation.This event is especially timely as the federal direction continues to move toward more secure, standardized, and useful electronic exchange of health information, with TEFCA positioned as the nationwide framework for trusted exchange. TEFCA includes Government Benefits Determination as one of its exchange purposes, and SSA has publicly stated that its participation through a QHIN is intended to streamline disability determination through digital exchange. ASTP’s HTI-1 rule also adopted USCDI v3 as the new baseline in the certification program, reinforcing the national expectation for more mature, structured data exchange.The Summit will also highlight how this modernization is not only about compliance, but about helping organizations reduce manual processes, strengthen operational readiness, and prepare for a healthcare ecosystem increasingly built on common standards, connected networks, and scalable digital infrastructure. This aligns with ASTP’s broader vision of “better health enabled by data.”Attendees will hear from healthcare leaders and subject matter experts on topics such as:
