Join us for a fun, interactive and bilingual book reading of Sofía y su Tambor de Bomba/Sofia and Her Bomba Drum at the Molina Family Latino Gallery, inside the National Museum of American History in Washington DC!

This will be part of the Día del Niño celebration, as well as the opening of the new exhibition “¡Puro Ritmo! The Musical Journey of Salsa” at the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino. This is a bilingual exhibition that traces the evolution of salsa from its Afro-Caribbean roots to its emergence as a defining musical tradition in the United States.
