Dr. Ben Furlong presents the story of Pueblo de los Muertos, an indigenous village located in present-day south Tempe and west Chandler, which existed from about 300-1450 A.D. The unprecedented Hemenway Southwestern Archeological Expedition explored this area in 1887-1888 to discover and identify thousands of artifacts, and located more than 35 structures from this prehistoric site.
