About this Event
The International Federation of Reproduction Rights Organisations (IFRRO) is pleased to invite you to the official launch of the IFRRO AI Governance Guide, a new publication examining the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence, copyright and collective management.
The IFRRO AI Governance Guide, developed with the contribution of Prof. Dr. Eleonora Rosati, provides an overview of the key legal, policy and governance issues surrounding the use of copyright protected works in AI systems. The publication highlights the importance of transparency, responsible data use and licensing solutions, including collective licensing, as practical tools to ensure that AI development respects the rights of authors and publishers and supports a sustainable creative ecosystem.
The event will address key legal and policy developments relating to AI training, copyright protection, and licensing frameworks, with a particular focus on practical governance approaches for the responsible use of text and image-based works in AI systems.
