We are inviting you to the presentation of the 2024 corruption perceptions report for the northern part of Cyprus, by Omer Gokcekus (Seton Hall University) and Sertac Sonan (Cyprus International University), hosted by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Cyprus. This annual report aims to assess perceptions of corruption in the northern part of the island using Transparency International's (TI) Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) methodology, to compare its standing globally, to track changes in corruption perception from the previous year, to display perspectives of the business community on corruption, and to propose institutional changes to combat corruption effectively.
The event will be conducted in Turkish and is open to the public. Please register via email by March 10 at [email protected]. However, last-minute attendees without registration are also welcome.

Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Kıbrıs Ofisi olarak sizleri, Ömer Gökçekuş (Seton Hall University) ve Sertaç Sonan (Uluslararası Kıbrıs Üniversitesi) tarafından hazırlanan, Kuzey Kıbrıs’ta Yolsuzluk Algısı: 2024 Raporu’nun sunumuna davet ediyoruz.
Her yıl hazırlanan bu rapor, Uluslararası Şeffaflık Örgütü’nün (Transparency International) Yolsuzluk Algı Endeksi metodolojisini kullanarak adanın kuzey kesimindeki yolsuzluk algısını değerlendirmeyi; kuzey Kıbrıs’ın yolsuzluk algısı konusundaki konumunu dünyanın geri kalanıyla karşılaştırmayı; önceki yıla göre yolsuzluk algısındaki değişiklikleri tespit etmeyi; iş dünyasının yolsuzluk hakkındaki nabzını tutmayı ve yolsuzlukla etkin mücadele için kurumsal değişiklikler önermeyi amaçlamaktadır.
