The City of Orillia is once again opening its doors – and its garages – to celebrate National Public Works Week with an action-packed Fun Fest on Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Municipal Operations Centre, 20 James St. West. This free, family-friendly event invites residents to get up close to big trucks and equipment, enjoy hands-on activities, and take part in a morning full of fun.
Back for a third year, the Public Works Fun Fest is bigger and better, with new interactive experiences, expanded equipment displays, and even more activities for all ages. Admission is free, with attendees encouraged to bring a donation in support of The Sharing Place Food Centre.
