About this Event
Virtual Adult Blended Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training is an evidence-based training designed to help participants identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health issues and substance use disorders in adults. This virtual training via Zoom covers common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges, common signs and symptoms of substance use challenge, how to interact with a person in crisis, how to connect a person with help, and expanded content on trauma, substance use and self-care. This training includes self-paced pre-work (Modules 1-9) to complete prior to virtual training day (May 15, 2026), Module 10 is virtual via Zoom training, and self-paced post-work (Modules 11-13) with a mini test at the end that is open book and allows participants multiple attempts until they receive an 80% or higher. Participants will receive a wealth of digital resources through their Connect Dashboard along with a 3 year certification that can count towards CEU'S upon director approval.
