About the Safe, Clean Water Program
The Safe, Clean Water Program (SCWP) is a Los Angeles County initiative that funds projects to capture, clean, and conserve local water. It helps reduce pollution in rivers, lakes, and the ocean while increasing local water supplies. The program supports green infrastructure, habitat restoration, and community education about water conservation and watershed health. By investing in these projects, the SCWP creates safer, cleaner waterways and strengthens communities across Los Angeles County.
