Public Speaking masterclass
Join Priya Aggarwal-Shah for an exciting in-person event at ING Media, located on Curtain Road in London, UK.
Following the success of our International Women's Day public speaking masterclass, based on the UN 2024 theme 'Invest in Women', Priya will be hosting another session, this time open to all genders on 6th June 2024, at ING Media, in Shoreditch.
The idea behind this workshop is about giving industry professionals agency and confidence over their voice and supporting those who are keen to do more public speaking - whether it's speaking on panel discussions, presenting to semi-large audiences, or simply gaining confidence to share one's story more, this session will equip you with the skills to showcase the best version of yourself at events.
In this 90-minutes interactive masterclass, Priya will be covering:
- The power of storytelling
- Types of speaking engagements and what is right for you
- Preparing for panel discussions
- The psychology of public speaking and overcoming nerves
- Maintaining momentum after speaking events
- Interactive session where we go through some questions.
The session is aimed at those who are a few years into their careers, keen to speak on panels, yet don't quite have as much experience. This session is based in London and you are welcome to travel down for it, however we are looking to host future sessions in other cities, so if you think your company can host us, please email [email protected] and we can come to a city near you.

About Priya
Priya Aggarwal-Shah is the Founder and Director of PREACH Inclusion® (formerly BAME in Property), an organisation that promotes and preaches intersectional inclusion in the Built Environment.
Launched in 2018 as a networking group online, Priya has since organised networking events with leading CRE companies for 1,000s of property professionals, built a social media following to 11,000+ and engaged in numerous campaigns, including Race Equality Week, #MyNameIs, South Asian Heritage Month and International Women’s Day.
In the last seven years, Priya has spoken on over 150 panel events, hosted / moderated discussions and roundtables, as well as delivered keynotes to senior leaders, about diversity and inclusion, personal experiences, and more.
She is also a commentator in the media on EDI topics, having spoken on BBC London, BBC Business and BBC Asian Network, as well as featured in Inside Housing, Asian Voice, BE News, EG, Bisnow and more.
Priya has received numerous accolades for her work, featuring in the RTPI Women of Influence list four years in a row, listed as one of PR Week's 30 under 30, in 2021, and more recently, she was regarded as one of Property Week's 'one to watch' in 2024.
