Join Bike Walk Macon for a Walk ‘n’ Talk! This monthly walking series is an opportunity to connect and chat while getting some fresh air and gentle exercise.

𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧: Walk with us through Downtown as we check out some of Macon’s newest and upcoming public spaces. Along the way, Margaret Peth with the Urban Development Authority and Reimaging the Civic Commons will share the vision behind these projects and highlight the pedestrian and bike improvements helping create a more connected Macon.
𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:
This one-hour, casual group walk meets on the third Tuesday of each month (March to June and September to December) at 6:00 PM. We’ll feature a guest guide and/or special topic to discuss as we explore the streets of Macon.
Participants should be able to walk 3 miles non-stop. Wear appropriate fitness gear and bring water. Dogs are welcome but must be leashed.
Before each walk, we’ll do some light stretching as Bike Walk Macon’s Education Instructor shares pedestrian safety information and smart walking tips.
