Meet us at the Gallery and head off on a great adventure to the enigmatic Weereewa/Ngungara/Lake George. We'll be driving through the beautiful green surrounds of Currawang NSW, and alighting to hear from the exhibiting artist Brenda L Croft, walk in nature, observe and sketch the lake and its surrounds.
Featured in Brenda L Croft's solo exhibition after/image, Weereewa/Ngungara/Lake George is an endorheic lake that has captivated many artists through history through its mysterious rising and falling waters.
In this special program, participants are encouraged to bring a sketchbook, pens or pencils with which to study the lake through observational drawing. Basic drawing materials provided by Goulburn Regional Art Gallery. Participants are welcome to supplement with their own preferred drawing equipment if they wish.
Light refreshments will be provided during the program, with the exhibition Brenda L Croft after/image open to view upon return to the Gallery in the afternoon.
