The City of Milwaukee is proposing rehabilitation improvements to the Hawley Road Bridge over W. State Street. Construction on this project is tentatively scheduled for 2028. It is anticipated that the bridge and approach roadways will remain open to traffic during construction. The City will hold an open-house public involvement meeting on Monday, March 2, 2026, at St. Sebastian Parish, 1725 N. 54th Street, from 4 to 6 p.m. for the public to learn more about the proposed improvements, get questions answered, and provide input to the project team.
St. Sebastian Parish is an accessible facility. Reasonable accommodations, of an auxiliary aid or service required due to a disability, for a City of Milwaukee event will be provided upon request.
