Department of Political Science of Vytautas Magnus University is inviting for public lecture of Mr. Emanuele de Maigret, Ambassador of Italy in the Republic of Lithuania. The topic of meeting – ‘Italy as Global Actor’.Distinguished guest will analyze the main challenges of modern Italy, also Italian political tradition. How the state is strengthening its diplomacy, how is dealing with other countries of NATO and the European Union in areas of security and defense? Which are the main important initiatives of foreign policy, how Italy is functioning as international actor and regional leader?
All questions will be discussed on Monday, November 25, at 16.00. Public lecture will take place in 310 room, Putvinskio 23. Moderator of the meeting – Assoc. Prof. Andžej Pukšto.
