The Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Carnegie Library is hosting an evening lecture with historian Haley Evans on Wednesday, May 20, at 7 p.m.
Evans will discuss the history of public lands and ranching, and the conflict between stockmen, the United States Forest Service, and the National Park Service. She is working toward a master’s degree in public history at Oklahoma State University.
Evans received her Bachelor of Arts in general history at Colorado State University with a minor in religious studies.
The cost of the presentation will be $5 per person.
