We will meet at the Berry site (near Morganton, NC) where you will learn the history of the site and learn archaeology techniques. You will be holding history in your hands while you help to excavate on the site.
You must be 16 years of age or older to participate (younger explorers ages 10-15 must be accompanied by a paid adult). No experience is necessary and all tools will be provided.
The cost is $10 per person. You must REGISTER to actively participate in the excavation; click Tickets to register. After you register, you will receive an email with more details including navigation directions.
