Should sea star fathers worry about their children looking nothing like them? Some marine Invertebrate larvae are simply smaller versions of their parents. But a majority of larvae across all phylums are so wildly different in form and ecology from their adult stages that they are unrecognizable to all but the most dedicated larval biologists. Dr. Richard Emlet, professor at the University of Oregon, has spent his life studying WHY this is so prevalent and HOW this happens. Find out more at out pub science night!
As usual this event is free to the public. Our full food and drink menu will be available.
