It's brews for books - Pub Fiction 2026! Join us for a literary-themed pub crawl through downtown Ames. It's fun, it's hip, and it's for a good cause!Come dressed as your favorite literary character and you may win a prize...or just join the fun and ooh and ahh over everyone else's character.
All funds raised benefit the Ames Public Library Foundation, which helps provide the Ames community with enhanced library programs.
We'll kick off the event at check-in from 5:30-6:30 at the library, then routes will be given out as people check in. We'll have some snacks and some fun, then send you off to the locations, who will feature a literary theme and drink specials for participants.
