Ptero Ptero Ceramics Market and Workshops by STRATUS

STRATUS is excited to present our first-ever Ptero Ptero Ceramics Market and Workshops!

There are two ways to take part!

1. PTERO PTERO CERAMICS MARKET at ANNMS (8219 104 St NW): An independent ceramic artist sale hosted at ANNMS on November 16 (12-5PM). The goal of this market is to connect talented ceramic artists in the city, and allow them to showcase their work. This market will also support and raise funds for future event and publication work at STRATUS. There will be an entry fee of $5 (tickets will be sold on Eventbrite/at the door) which will go towards future STRATUS activities like this one! Ceramic items will be available on a first come first serve basis, and we will also have drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for sale inside throughout the market. Come hang out with STRATUS for the last time in 2024 while you shop for some timeless ceramic pieces!
2. PTERO PTERO CERAMICS WORKSHOP at SITE.94 (12002 94 St NW): In anticipation of the launch of our ceramics studio in the new year, we invite you to experience our space at SITE.94 by joining us for a 2-part hand-building workshop! Although the workshop is catered towards individuals with little to no experience, ceramicists of any level are welcome to join! This is a 2-part workshop (e.g. Nov 16/17 for hand-building, Nov 23/24 for finishing pieces, underglazing, etc.) and tickets will be $100, which will include all necessary materials (clay, underglazes, wax resist, all tools, etc.). All you need to bring is yourself! Final pieces will be ready for pick-up by Sunday, December 1st.
