Prune Like A Pro: Tree & Shrub Pruning Essentials

Not sure where to start with pruning your trees, shrubs, perennials, and hedges? This class will give you an introduction to proper pruning techniques and tips on when you should call in an arborist. You'll go home with a booklet on basic landscape care and maintenance after the class.

The cost for attendance is $25. Registration will close 24 hours before the class start time.

Please be prepared to be outdoors in our gardens. Hats, sunscreen, and garden gloves are recommended.

CEUs have been approved for FDACS licensed pesticide holders in the following categories:

• 2 Commercial (PCO) Lawn and Ornamental
• 2 Limited Certification Commercial Landscape Management (LCLM)
• 2 Limited Certification Lawn and Ornamental (LLO)
• 3 Ornamental and Turf (OT)
• 3 Right-of-Ways (ROW)

Payment policy: Pre-registration is required along with the non-refundable class registration fee. All ticket sales are final, no refunds. Cancellation policy: Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not booked. If class is cancelled you will receive a notification, and a refund confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process. Refunds for class cancellations may take up to 30 days to process if registration fee is paid by cash or check.
