Volunteers play a vital role at Providence Care, supporting patients, clients, and residents in a wide range of programs. By joining us, you help fulfill our Mission to “enhance the quality of life” for every person — while discovering how rewarding and personally fulfilling volunteering can be.
At the Volunteer Fair, you’ll have the opportunity to:
-Learn about meaningful volunteer roles across Providence Care’s programs.
-Meet staff and volunteers who will share their experiences.
-Complete a volunteer application form and participate in interviews during the fair.
Opportunities include:
-Providence Manor: Gift Shop Sales Associate, Recreational Therapy, Friendly Visiting, Pet Therapy, Spiritual Care
-Providence Care Hospital: Art Hive/Games Coffee Group, Gift Shop Sales Associate, Welcome Desk, Friendly Visiting, Pet Therapy, New Patient Admission Orientation
-Providence Transitional Care Centre: Coffee Group, Games, Friendly Visiting, Pet Therapy
-Hospice Community Programs: In-Home Support, Bereavement, Caregiver Support
-AB Smith Homestead House: Welcome Desk, Kitchen Assistant, Patient Visitors, Pet Therapy
