This information workshop is designed for parents andcarers to explore Protective Behaviours. Learn how to support and empower children with strategies to promote safety through fun, age appropriate activities.
- Encourage children to recognise and express all types of feelings
- Help children identify situations that may cause them to feel
worried, unsafe, or uncomfortable
- Support children in identifying safe people they can talk to about anything, and reinforce the importance of continuing to
seek help until they feel heard
- Promote understanding of consent and the differences between public and private behaviours and spaces
