Abbie’s Safe Home is the largest emergency shelter in Tennessee dedicated to housing the pets of domestic violence survivors fleeing unsafe homes. Located alongside survivor services provided by the YWCA Nashville & Middle Tennessee, Abbie’s Safe Home ensures that when someone makes the brave decision to leave, they don’t have to leave their pet behind.When families arrive, both survivors and their pets often have very little. Your donations of human and pet necessities help restore comfort, stability, and dignity during an incredibly difficult transition—protecting not just their safety, but the bond that helps them heal.
