Flex your green thumb by learning about California native plant vegetative propagation with a variety of native plant specimens from our satellite location in Montecito Heights. Los Nogales Nursery, a partnership between Audubon Center at Debs Park and Theodore Payne Foundation. Students will learn how to start and grow plants from cuttings in this hands-on session. This informative course is suitable for both professionals and anyone interested in learning propagation techniques for their home or community garden. Each participant will leave with a flat of start cuttings for their own garden! With a background in Environmental Studies and Agroecology from UC Santa Cruz, he brings expertise in sustainable landscape practices and ecological horticulture.
