Bravo Brava is PROMAJA'S debut album. The record is 33 minutes of slouching towards the hubris of modernity. The resulting eight tracks both propel and engulf, showcasing a sound that’s angular and urgent. Marked by acerbic vocals, guitars that oscillate between cascading turns and sharp abrasive stabs, while underpinned by sinewy bass and propulsive drums, firmly echoing Bravo Brava’s lyrical intersections of the battles of modern existence.PERFECT ACTRESS are a punk band who loves watching movies with sexy diva actresses in them. Practicing and recording on Gadigal land, their debut EP “Perfect Actress” was released in 2023.
SZEM is the ethereal project of visual artist and musician Laura Hunt, influenced by plausible fictions and alternate realities, exploring themes of transmutation of energy and shifting states of being. Aura Hunting uses water as an instrument amplified through diy hydrophonic microphones. Water holding energetic states is poured between vessels, alongside soundscape and digital/hardware instruments. Szem is Hunt's IDM project using hardware and VST sampling; woven amongst beat and melody are subliminal message recordings for heart opening, trust and acceptance of change.
