The City of Elmhurst invites residents to attend a Project Rendering Open House to preview several exterior design concepts for the Elmhurst Police Department’s future police station, which is proposed to remain at its current location.During the open house, attendees will have the opportunity to view architectural renderings developed by FGM Architects, the firm contracted to design the new facility. The display boards will showcase options of exterior architecture, styles, and design elements for the future building. These renderings were formulated from the resident feedback gathered at the January 26, 2026, Project Visioning Open House.
This will be a self-guided, open house-style event, allowing residents to stop by at any time to review the renderings and learn more about the proposed design options.
Community feedback gathered during the event will help inform the project team as they refine the final exterior design for the new police station.
