Prohibition was the period in U.S. History when it was illegal to manufacture, transport or sell liquor. This covered every state and some of the territories. Historian Linda McCann spoke with many people who recalled and shared what they remembered. Linda was surprised to find that farmers used their corn to make liquor and sell it during this time. She will share items specific to the Marshalltown area.
