St Andrew's Methodist Church in Tamworth are very pleased to welcome Professor Anthony Reddie, Director of The Oxford Centre for Religion and Culture and Research Fellow at The Queen's Foundation.
Reddie was born and raised in Bradford, West Yorkshire from a family of first-generation Caribbean migrants. He is one of the recipients of the 2020 Lanfranc Award delivered by the Archbishop of Canterbury to recognise his 'exceptional and sustained contribution to Black theology In Britain and beyond'.
Schedule for the day is as follows:
12.00pm - Arrivals and refreshments
12.15pm - Anthony to talk about love for the world's people
1pm - A Caribean meal (vegetarian) provided by local caters "Asa’s Cookout"
1.45pm - 2.30pm Anthony will facilate group workshops
We ask for a contribution of £10 per person (cash on the day) to cover the cost of food. (If the cost is an obstacle to you attending, please do not feel obligated to pay - If you are able to pay more to cover someone elses meal then this would be most welcome)
