We are pleased to invite you to our next Medicine as a Science lecture featuring Prof. Cecilia Brassett.Professor Brassett is Teaching Professor of Human Anatomy at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Magdalene College. She plays a central role in anatomy teaching for Cambridge medical students and is involved in research on clinically applied anatomy and medical education. She is also a council member of both the Anatomical Society and the British Association of Clinical Anatomists.
Her work focuses on the anatomy of the gastrointestinal tract and abdominal wall, anatomical variation relevant to surgery, and the role of cadaveric dissection in modern medical training. She is also actively involved in research on innovative methods for teaching anatomy and improving clinical anatomical education.
In her lecture, Professor Brassett will speak on: “Clinically applied research within an anatomy teaching programme.”
The event will take place on 23/03 at 4pm in Syllaba Hall. The talk will be conducted in English, and a recording will be available afterward.
This lecture is organised in collaboration with IFMSA and with the support of the Division of International and Public Relations of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine.
