Join Sunrise Community for Recovery and Wellness' Problem Gambling Program for Problem Gambling: Recognition, Recovery & Peer Support!This 6-hour training equips peer support specialists and recovery coaches to recognize, understand, and support people affected by gambling disorder. Registration and payment is required before attending. Attendees must either be a Certified Peer Support Specialist or working towards certification, or completed Recovery Coach Training.
For credentialed peers who have already completed Sure Bet Levels 1 and 2, this training is the final piece.
Peer support specialists and recovery coaches who complete all three meet the training standards to apply to enroll as a provider in the NCPGP network.
Completion of this training for Certified Peer Support Specialists or certified Recovery Coach will provide eligibility to be a paid provider for the NC Problem Gambling Program helpline.
