About this Event

We are excited to invite you to the Private Viewing of "Iranian Diaspora: Stories of Sanctuary and Solidarity," our upcoming exhibition, which marks the culmination of a year-long project involving the Iranian community in the UK.

Event Details:

Friday 29th March 2024, 18:30 to 20:30

at Gallery@OXO, Oxo Tower Wharf, Barge House Street, London SE1 9PH (closest tube/train stations are Blackfriars, Waterloo and Embankment)

Project team: Roghieh Dehghan, Maryam Hashemi, Lola Awada, Majid Adin, Nasrin Parvaz and Sohail Jannessari

We hope that you will be able to join us on this exclusive, by invitation-only viewing, to discover the multimedia artworks created by Iranian migrants and refugees during a series of creative workshops around the themes of migration, mental health and solidarity. Artworks by the collaborating artists will also be on display.

This Private Viewing coincides with Nowruz, the Iranian New Year, adding an extra layer of significance to the event. We will celebrate together with Iranian vegan food.
