PRISCA’S ART DC SIDEWALK FASHION SHOW |5-Year Anniversary Celebration
For five years, Prisca’s Art DC has transformed sidewalks into runways, creating space where fashion, culture, community, and entrepreneurship meet.
What began in 2018 as a bold vision—launched while founder Prisca was heavily pregnant—has grown into a beloved community fashion experience inspired by East Coast style and the sustainability of contemporary African fashion.
This September, we’re celebrating five years of creativity, resilience, and community impact with our biggest sidewalk runway experience yet.
Join us on Rhode Island Avenue NE as we spotlight local designers, Black-owned businesses, artists, entrepreneurs, and the vibrant culture that makes our communities thrive.

100% of vendor proceeds are reinvested into Iwinosa Free Sewing Classes, helping provide creative education and sewing skills to aspiring makers and future entrepreneurs.

Our goal is to bring the runway to all four corners of the city before expanding across Maryland, Virginia, and beyond.
