Join us for a thoughtfully curated, holistic art retreat where printmaking becomes a process of exploration, presence, and personal expression. Guided by a carefully composed still life, you’ll explore three distinct printmaking techniques—monoprinting, intaglio, and block printing—each offering a new way to interpret and translate what you see and feel onto paper.
Through step-by-step guidance, each artist will be supported in learning the technical processes while being encouraged to experiment freely across mediums. You’ll be invited to respond intuitively, allowing your unique perspective to unfold through layered prints and evolving imagery.
This retreat balances structure with creative freedom, creating space for both skill-building and soulful exploration. You’ll leave with a collection of artworks that reflect your individual printmaking journey and your time spent creating with us at Sketch Events & Socials—grounded, inspired, and creatively fulfilled.

Sandy Lane Tea Room is a wonderful tea room in the leafy lanes of the Cheshire countryside (on the outskirts of Macclesfield) that serves hot / cold drinks alongside a menu of delicious treat. This will be open for those who wish to purchase a refreshment on the day.
