Join us for a magical one-day printmaking and bookbinding course!
Working alongside printmaker learn how to carve intricate Lino blocks with traditional tools and print beautiful repeated patterns. Participants will use the block printed papers to make covers for an A6 Coptic Bound book with bookbinder who will teach you how to hand sew and bind a wonderful lay-flat notebook/sketchbook.
Inspiration material for the class will be provided, and you are of course welcome to be inspired by whatever you’d like for your book, and we encourage you to bring your own reference material for inspiration if you wish.
All tools and materials are provided however participants are welcome to bring along A5 prints or found papers to include within their bindings. Please cut these to size before arriving.

- Suitable for beginners and those wishing to enhance their skills
- Participants must be 18+
- The workshop is scheduled to run from 10am to 6pm, but please allow an additional 30 minutes if needed. While we aim to finish on time, we want to ensure all participants, regardless of pace, have the opportunity to complete their books
- Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided
- We will stop for a 30 min lunch break, please see details below of local amenities below
