Printing with Nature

This hands-on activity lets you explore the art of printing using natural materials like sponges, mosses, leaves, and flowers.Working with these natural materials helps you feel connected to nature and can be very calming. Touching soft moss, delicate petals, and textured leaves can help you relax and enjoy the moment. Drop-in anytime between 2-4pm to get printing with nature!

What to Expect:

In this workshop, you can create a beautiful collage of a natural landscape or make a self-portrait using only items found in nature. There can also be other craft activities on hand - painting kindness messages onto decorative rocks, mask making, clay modelling and card making. It's a great way to get creative and enjoy the outdoors in a new way!

Whether you're an experienced artist or just looking for a peaceful break, this workshop is the perfect place to unwind, be creative, and appreciate the beauty around us. Come and make some lovely art while taking care of your mind and soul.

Who's Hosting?

Scott Thomas is an artist & Theatre maker working in Scotland. In 2021 he co-founded the multimedia / site-specific Stravaig Theatre company and runs workshops across Scotland. Scott is a skilled playwright whose original work has received sell out runs at the Edinburgh Horror Festival and been exhibited across Industrial Museum Scotland’s venues around the country. Scott works as a dramaturg helping new writers and regularly runs relaxed creative writing workshops. Join Scott for this workshop and get creative with nature!
