Have you been curious about what a conversation LOOKS LIKE?
The Printer Party is a silly little shindig where we use Voice-To-Text technology to capture our conversations and print them out.
We can then play with the printed conversations. Add stickers, draw pictures… Even make Zines!!
The Party is intended to be light and silly, with consent-based guidelines on capturing conversations.
Don’t want to print out your thoughts? No problem! There will be Lasagna (Or something equally cool) and tunes. Feel free to just have a good time!
PLEASE BRING VINYL RECORDS IF YOU WANT TO ADD MUSIC TO MY RECORD PLAYER!
Current Safety Guidelines are:
– Folks will use THEIR OWN RECORDING DEVICES to record their thoughts.
– There will be check-ins to make sure folks aren’t sharing details that are too personal.
– Folks will only have conversations captured and printed with express consent of everyone in the conversation.
–The designated safety zone –where no conversations will be recorded– is in the Kitchen.
– We will have an ongoing conversation on improving these guidelines to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and feeling that their boundaries are respected.
