About this Event
This bespoke watercolor class is graciously hosted at Chez Carrie, one of the hottest restaurants in Paris. We will paint a still life composed of seasonal vegetables, handpainted paper models and other objects while learning the essentials of watercolor painting (including water control, mixing colors, light color theory and building a still life strategically). All materials will be providing, including high quality watercolor paints, brushes and paper, but feel free to bring your own if you'd like. This course will be taught in English and French. Signed copies of Jessie's book "Thinking in Watercolor" will be available for purchase for 20 euros.
Jessie Kanelos Weiner is an illustrator working for clients like Vogue, The New Yorker and LVMH. She is the bestselling coauthor of "Paris in Stride" (Rizzoli) and author of the book "Thinking in Watercolor" (Artisan). She is also an art professor in Paris and hosts watercolor retreats.
